INFO:  Access this Intranet outside of Rockhurst...
    The address is http://intranet.rockhursths.edu/ (note there is no www in this address).  When prompted enter your username (e.g. "student\johndoe" without the quote marks) and your password (the same one that you use to logon to the computers at school).  It is important to remember for students to use student\ before your username and for faculty and staff to use rockhurst\ before your username.

TROUBLESHOOTING REMOTE ACCESS

You must be using a Windows based PC with Internet Explorer as your web browser.

Some of our users have been experiencing some technical difficulties accessing the school Intranet from home.  One key troubleshooting method is making sure your Internet Explorer accepts our website as a trusted site.  The following instructions will show you how to do this.

If you are using Internet Explorer follow these steps.

1. Open a web browser
2. Select Internet Options from the Tools menu at the top of the screen
3. Click on the Security tab
4. Select the green circle with the white check mark labeled Trusted Sites
5. Click the Sites button
6. Check to make sure that the "Require secure verification..." box at the bottom of the window is NOT checked.
7. In the "Add this Web site to the zone:" field enter http://intranet.rockhursths.edu
8. Click the Add button
9. Click the OK button on the Trusted Sites window
10. Click the OK button on the Internet Options window
    In the Address bar at the top of the browser type in http://intranet.rockhursths.edu/students
11. Press the Go button to the right of the address bar
    Login using the following method

username:  student\username
password: the same password that you use at school
